Save 100s On Video Games

If you love and enjoy video games, then you realize that they can get extremely pricey at times. Check out my top strategies on how to save money when buying them.

Regular gamers can spend hundreds of pounds each year. Although you can get a lot of pleasure on your purchases, this is often still way to expensive. Thankfully, there are many ways that can save you money when buying video games.

Pre-Order early. There are many retailers that put video games on offer before there official release. I recently pre-ordered the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system from Tesco for 40 on a 2 day special offer. It’s now 120+ in most stores now its released. The same example applies to video games. Much hype recently has been around the upcoming game: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Because of the huge demand there weren’t many retailers prepared to sell the game for less than 45. However, after a lot of searching, I eventually found it for 36.95. A saving of nearly 10, time well spent!

Purchase second hand. Wait until your wanted game is released, then find someone selling it second hand. eBay is a great place to find such purchases. This can be an easy way to save 10 or more on a video game.

Nearly all online retailers have “promo codes”. Promotion codes are issued by the retailer in order to attract customers to purchase from them. Search Google for “promo codes” or “retailers name + promo codes”. Some may have expired; however, spending 10 minutes searching should bring up some discount.

All of my tips can save you loads of money off video game purchases. I use to use all of these tips myself, before I came across a site that combined all of the tips I listed, but did it in seconds. It’s a tool designed for buying video games, it scans and checks the latest prices from every online retailer and lists the best price. Not only does this save me loads of money, but it also saves me hours of my own time! www.checkgameprices.com is the site I use, I highly recommend using it for any video game purchases.

Take action and save yourself a small fortune!
